Don't delay

(Chernoff, 2009)
Based on feedback from my first post, it seems that for many of us, our first instinct is to avoid delivering bad news for as long as possible.

Sadly this tactic doesn't make the bad news go away.  Neither does it make it any easier to deliver the news.

The solution: Just do it!

  1. Totally agree! Although you can try to soften the blow as much as you possibly can, its always is going to be BAD news. For me, keeping the bad news to myself and not confronting it also causes stress. However, I find that the people I have to tell about the bad news would much rather hear it sooner rather than later which eases the situation for the both of us, haha.
Avoiding bad news is definitely not the way to go!
